About the Speaker:

Matthew Rooda studied generics and pre-medicine at The University of Iowa and became a Certified Medication Assistant. Identifying how software and IoT devices in healthcare could improve the animal health industry - quality of life for millions of companion and food production animals, he co-founded SwineTech in 2015.

It provides pork producers with workforce and swine management solutions to enhance the care for pigs everywhere.

Rooda has raised more than $8 million in venture capital, managed business development efforts in North and South America, Europe, Australia, and Asia, and connected producers and consumers through the Popular Pig podcast. He is also a Forbes 30-Under-30 Entrepreneur.
