Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will begin a three-day visit to Tamil Nadu from today. Before leaving, Rahul said that he and his party would protect the unique Tamil culture from the attacks of the BJP-led government. He said that he is very happy to go to Tamil Nadu again. Tamil Nadu is expected to go in assembly election mode later this year.

Rahul Gandhi wrote on social media that he would spend time with Tamil brothers and sisters in the Kongu belt. Rahul is going to Tamil Nadu for the second time this month. Earlier on January 14, he had reached Madurai to watch the traditional bull race Jallikattu on Pongal. Meanwhile, preparations are underway for his reception in his state.
