Amazons founder, Jeff Bezos is one of the richest men in the world and is known for being an innovator and a disrupter of industries. This next bold bet is inline with what Walmart is doing now with drone deliveries. When they can deliver items via drone they can save on labor costs as well as fuel costs, truck costs and more. We will see them automate home deliveries in such a way that it will allow them to price items at such low costs that no small businesses will be able to survive as customers are entering an affordability crisis and customers will be forced to price shop all items.

I believe it will not just be Amazon and Walmart, it will be Papa Johns, Dominos, Subway and all restaurant chains that will soon offer drone delivery. This will change the entire industry of buying items for consumption and for your home.

When we look at the technological innovations that are occurring with AR and VR we can see that society will be changing into a direction focused more around staying at home and consuming at home. This will also have a large scale impact on the economy.
