Big trouble for big tech in the US as the Federal Trade Commission and 46 states filed an antitrust suit, seeking to break up Facebook... If the FTC is successful, Facebook could be forced to divest Instagram and WhatsApp, a move that will have huge ramifications for the Internet economy... The FTC and 46 states anti-trust lawsuit against Facebook comes on the heels of a lawsuit filed by the Justice Department against Google in October.. Amazon and Apple too have faced multiple anti-trust probes at the federal and state levels as the US Govt seeks to stem the dominance of Big Tech. India is Facebook's biggest market by the number of users and it's been making big bets here, as it recently invested $5.7 Billion in Jip Platforms... It's also been betting big on social commerce and payments through Instagram and WhatsApp
