In this video, I have talked about that startup of India that got 2million dollars of funding before starting the Startup yes you guess it right that is shopclues so shopclues is started by Sandeep Aggarwal, Radhika Aggarwal & his business partner Sanjay Sethi. so Sanjay Sethi has experience in building startups also he has worked with eBay as a product assistant and they started shopclues in 2012. when there is no competition as there is no amazon at that time in India also Flipkart is also in the beginning stage. the main USP of shopclues is to sell cheap and affordable products and also shopclues allow shopowners to sell on their platforms with 0% commission and now shopclues facing many reasons of failure. so shopclues is killed due to not focusing on innovation. where amazon Flipkart is making an app and good website for their company and shopclues still not doing anything also in shopclues there if leadership conflict like Sandeep Aggarwal is arrested due to insider trading and then Sandeep file the case on his wife Radhika and his partner Sanjay Sethi. shopclues also face a problem of lack of funds as we know the dark side of eCommerce startup they focus on acquiring customers to long term basis to do so they do cash burn activities by investors funding and when shopclues funds got empty he is no longer to compete with big bulls like amazon snapdeal and Flipkart.
