A MESSAGE FROM CAPT DHARMVEER :
All the above was not possible if I did not become a MAN through my experiences in the ARMY. A year of training at officers training academy in Chennai to 5 years of life worth cherishing lifetime. The stint with Indian Army made me a man who learnt that anything is possible… the pursuit of life would have ended had I not spent the prime of my life serving the country in the toughest of the terrains.

Right from entering the academy to last day of my tenure, still seems to be a dream. Living it and believing in it makes me what I am today.
Life journey started from Gorakhpur and Allahabad where I completed by preliminary education and chose against my parents wishes of becoming a doctor and went to JNU for Japanese Hons. It was then when life changed and unexpectedly I moved to Army, though the reasons were very filmy, still I am happy I choose Army over any other profession.

Those five years were a roller coaster, each day was a surprise yet so fulfilling. Right from operations in the valley to simple war-games in peace location; everything is part of my life. Survival sometimes took precedence over war and any other thing…and we did not survive enemy but weather most of the times. The distances we covered were not in miles but distances of hopes to meet the other end.
Completed full-fledged 2 years counterinsurgency high altitude tenure while doing 5 years of Life with Army.

After Army, I went for my business administration to NMIMS and corporate life started from there, have served companies like Tata, Aviva life insurance, IndiaMART and Pathways School at Upper Middle Management to leadership roles during my 8-9 years of corporate life.
Now taken the plunge of being and entrepreneur. I personally run a company Called Apache, which is into IFM & HSE. I assist my Life Partner with Strategy and alliance part in our other company Apache Kriti which is a registered Partner with Khadi India.
Father of twins, son Shourya and daughter Gayatri, both 13.

I don’t know what next I will dream… but I know if I will dream I will chase it too….
In the current Covid times, my message to youth is to “up-skill and introspect”. It’s a reset, from here a new world would emerge and fittest will survive. We are lucky that we have this time we always needed. Be positive and make good use of it. For your next failure you would have all the excuses but cannot say, “I didn’t have time”.
