On August 31 this year, U.S. chip giants Nvidia and AMD received a government ban and were required to cut off the supply of high-performance GPU chips to customers in China.
According to Reuters, the Biden administration plans next month to broaden curbs on U.S shipments to China of semiconductors used for artificial intelligence and chip-making tools.
