Delivery workers from several e-commerce companies continue their strike across Turkey demanding higher wage rises and a guarantee of unionisation rights.
Turkey’s inflation has hit its highest rate in two decades, and the government has raised the minimum wage by 50% to make up for the increasing living costs. However, wage rises in the private sector for employees earning more than the minimum wage remain far below that level.
