#TQHPolicyDialogue | Unpacking Non-Personal Data | Discussion 1: Defining non-personal data

The Quantum Hub has organised a series of online discussions 'Unpacking Non-Personal Data', bringing together lawyers, tech policy experts and government officials among others to deliberate on the arguments that surround non-personal data governance. Non-personal data has been defined under the Personal Data Protection (PDP) Bill 2019 and the e-commerce policy draft 2019. However, all suggested definitions of non-personal data so far have proved to be contentious both from legal and tech perspective. The session, 'Defining Non-Personal Data' brings top lawyers and tech leaders discussing whether it is possible to define non-personal data in a way that it does not lend itself to disputes or contradictions with the personal data law.
