Introducing the Tissot PR516 Chronograph Mechanical & Quartz: Crafted for Long Distance Races.

In 1965, new designs led to the birth of the PR 516 collection. In 2024, Tissot introduces the reimagination of a legend.

For the first time, Tissot has incorporated the Valjoux A05.291 movement, a manual winding variant of exceptional precision and durability. At Tissot, the PR name stands for “Particularly Robust”.

The A05.291 has undergone specific modifications to fit the PR 516 and its heritage, the automatic winding block has been removed and replaced with a new, specially decorated bridge, that shows the inscription "TISSOT 1853".

This movement is notable for its shock resistance, featuring the NIVACHOC A system. This system optimises the angle of the cone and the exclusive shape of its spring, ensuring effective shock absorption while maintaining excellent centering of the balance pivot.

Another key attribute of the A05.291 is its impressive 68-hour power reserve. This extended duration is achieved through a newly designed barrel architecture.

The range includes a mechanical chronograph model and three quartz variants, designed to capture the spirit of driving with a sporty design.
