Although the contention between Beijing and Washington is out in the open amid increased geopolitical tension, Joe Biden and Xi Jinping may be helping each other behind the scenes. Joe Biden doesn’t want the ticking time bomb called “China’s economy” to go off too soon. And Xi Jinping wants Biden’s help to beat out his political opponents. Both leaders want to postpone a pending global economic crisis. Although their “help” of each other may be temporary and under the table, it highlights the most complex geopolitical issues of our time.
