Tata Group in Talks With JustDial For Acquiring Majority Stakes | NBB News

Salt-to-software conglomerate Tata Sons’ digital arm Tata Digital has held early talks with Just Dial, the online classifieds company, to ink a strategic deal or a potential stake purchase, as the $113 billion Tata group is poised to beef up its presence in e-commerce.

“Both sides have met for discussions, but it is too early to say anything has been finalized. A lot also depends on how things evolve between the two parties,” the business daily quoted a senior Tata official who was familiar with the discussion as saying.
