This first webinar on January 25, 2025, by Taxpayers Against Genocide (TAG) was attended by 500 people from across the US. There is tremendous interest in developing a mass, grassroots movement across the US to hold Congresspersons legally accountable for funding genocide.
The class action lawsuit underway by Taxpayers Against Genocide (TAG) against Congresspersons across Northern California now has approximately 2000 class members. Here's our link tree: https://linktr.ee/taxpayersagainstgenocide
We believe our lawsuit is legally correct; this week we filed a powerful response to a court order by the judge to prove that we have cause and standing. We are seeking new legal representation, after the firm representing us withdrew over concern of being sanctioned. We are up against the odds, but we are never going to give up.
TAG’s New and Stronger Direction
We are also currently developing an international case, building on our Federal Class Action Lawsuit, and we are working with a team of attorneys to craft and implement this legal strategy. We want to see this movement spread across the US so that the international complaint includes all Congresspersons complicit in genocide. If you are interested in staying in communication with TAG about this, click here: https://forms.gle/Y1gFHK7Pku4zrFp56
No matter what happens with our case in the federal court, we are planning to take our momentum and grassroots infrastructure to the UN Human Rights Council and, most importantly, the International Criminal Court (ICC), demanding prosecution of our Congresspersons for criminal complicity in genocide.
