Swiggy will soon start pilots for middle-mile drone deliveries:

1. The flight corridors have been approved by the government: Swiggy CTO Dale Vaz
2. Customer-directed drone deliveries could involve fraud, and safety constraints while the middle-mile opportunity is insulated from such challenges.

Flipkart will reportedly enter Metaverse with the launch of "Flipverse":

1.Flipkart has reportedly partnered with social media giant Meta and Ethereum Layer-2 scaling startup Polygon for the project.
2. Flipkart will likely announce the Metaverse offering during the ongoing ‘Big Billion Day Sales’ and launch the project around Diwali.
3. Flipverse is expected to deploy Web3.0 technologies to elevate current 2D user experience to include virtual reality and other interactive features.
