Achieving the clarion call for Self Reliance a.k.a Atma Nirbharta, We are empowering its staff to engage in entrepreneurial pursuits, pushing barriers and redefining boundaries. Aligning ourselves with the buzzword of the 21st century, we present the story of Mr.Anand C, 51 years young, who was extensively involved in the e-waste collection and management project; bE Responsible.
Collecting e-waste from all around Bengaluru and dropping them at designated points for recycling, it was an everyday hustle for Anand sir (as he is fondly called), who gradually became well versed with the dynamics of this business. After four years of focus and an honest approach to work, bE-Responsible facilitated him to don the entrepreneur hat.
Starting from driving the collection vehicle, both Anand and the project have come a long way from collecting a few hundred kgs per month to a point where the collection has now crossed 4 tons per month. It was this dedication, sincerity, and unwavering honesty that has paid off and now empowering him to handle the e-waste on his own.
Earlier, bE-Responsible collected e-waste from non-bulk consumers and channelized it to authorized recyclers. However, from now onwards, Mr.Anand, registered as a firm “e-Prakruti” would handle the e-waste and engage with authorized recyclers for furthering the prospects of his business.
