Singapore Airlines will begin non-stop flights to New York on Nov 9. The services will accommodate a mix of passengers and cargo. There will be three flights a week between Changi and John F. Kennedy International Airport. The Airbus A350-900 long-range aircraft will be used. SIA said the new service will be the only non-stop air cargo link from the US northeast to Singapore. It is expecting significant cargo demand from a range of industries, such as pharmaceuticals, e-commerce and tech.
