Hey, it's Scott Orn at Kruze Consulting. And today we're talking about Shopify sales channel reporting.
And basically, the cool thing about Shopify, which for those who don't know, it's kind of the go-to e-commerce store provider for hundreds of thousands, maybe millions of people who are selling e-commerce stuff over the internet. Shopify actually has a really cool reporting system that can let you see how much you've sold by channel.
And this is important because there's some channels that are inherently organic, like Google. And there's some that are inherently paid like Instagram, Facebook, things like that. And so knowing where your customers are coming from and what they're actually buying and how much they're buying is really important, because that cycles back into what you wanna pay on a customer acquisition cost, what you're gonna pay for advertising to get those customers to your site.
And so this is just a partial list, but you've got the Google report, you've got Instagram, you've got Facebook, you have Facebook stores, you have Amazon, Pinterest and you even have the Walmart marketplace. So those are, if you kind of think about those are like the big traffic centers for online shopping.
And so Shopify, by virtue of having this report can really help its e-commerce store providers really be smart about where they're gonna spend money, what kind of customers are coming to them and really just optimize their store for conversion. And so we do a ton of stuff at Kruze with e-commerce companies and pretty much all of them use Shopify. And so this is just one of our favorite parts.
And so I wanted everyone to know about it because again, the smarter you are about your spend and the better you are about conversion, the more you can spend and you get that really nice flywheel going and you can build a really big e-commerce business. So I hope that helps. Thanks.
