I grew up without any mentors, help from others or even a hand out. My simple desire to want more and never settle has got me in the position I am today. Along that ride, I have done good, and I have done bad. One constant I had is I could never screw over an individual without retaliating to their actions or their first move.

Being an entrepreneur is like a chess game. You will have people make their first moves, their next moves, and every move thereafter against you trying to take down the king; in this case, the king is you. Entrepreneurs need to learn valuable lessons growing up and I had to learn those lessons as well with failure and also being raised in a city. Being a street kid, you learn so many things about reading people and the situation that I feel I had an edge on many. Being in the streets however, you also come across other entrepreneurs and hustlers that want to take you for a everything you got.

Entrepreneurs, hustlers, and others will test you to see where you will bend or give, entrepreneurs and other business people will attempt to take you for everything you got. In this video, I go over the first time someone seriously attempted to take me for over $50,000 and it happened to be a local guy that I have grown up with in the neighborhood. That did not go to well from him, and I learned a valuable lesson. DTA – Don’t Trust Anybody.
