South Korea's imports via e-commerce reached a new high this year as more people bought foreign goods online.
According to the Korea Customs Service, e-commerce imports rose to 4-point-1-5 billion U.S. dollars in the first 11 months of this year, up 25-point-7 percent from a year earlier.
With still a month left, the figure had already surpassed the total for 2020.
Around 4 in 10 South Koreans in their 20s to 50s made purchases online from overseas this year.
The biggest proportion of those people were in their 40s.
As for what people bought, number one was health products, followed by clothing and then electronics.
By country, South Koreans bought products from the U.S. the most, followed by China, Germany and then the U.K.
