Quick Look - Import a list of values associated with a single select or multiple select attribute

00:00 - Intro: Do you want to import a list of values associated with a single or multiple select attribute?
As an administrator*, you can perform this action.

For our example, we are going to add a list of values for the attribute "Macro color".
00:11 - Step 1: Open Data Flow / Import / Profiles.
00:20 - Step 2 : Create an import profile "List of values".
01:01 - Step 3 : Download the template of the import file.
01:12 - Step 4: Fill in the "List of values" import file
4.1 Indicate in the "attribute_code" column the code of the attribute that carries the value. This code can be repeated as many times as there are values for the same attribute.
Indicate in the column "value_code" the unique code of the value.
Attention, only the special characters "_" and "-" are allowed. All other special characters, accents and spaces are forbidden.
4.2 Indicate in the column "value_label" the label of the value that will be visible in the product sheet.
4.3 Finally, in the "value_description" column, you can indicate a descriptive text that is only visible in the back office.
01:47 - Step 5: Once the file is completed, open Data Flow / Imports / Profiles.
01:55 - Step 6: Click on Start a one-time import.
02:06 - Step 7: Drag and drop the import file or click the Browse button to retrieve it.
02:19 - Step 8: Click Import Data.

The list of values associated with your single or multiple select attribute been imported.

Step 9: Locate the "value_label" columns with the available active languages.
