Being perceived as overqualified can be overcome with your own words and presentation.

1. Know who you are and what you want to do. Be true to this
2. Be Proud of who you are and your experiences and Goals
3. Present yourself with Confidence & Clarity without being Pompous
4. Show Attitude & Energy in the discussions.
5. Don't over present your extended skills & experiences
6. Don't 'gloat' about working for larger enterprises
7. Don't over-promise what you can or will do for them.
8. Show Willingness & even eagerness to keep learning new ideas.
9. Don't overshare your accomplishments, especially when not relevant to the role, company, and/or industry.
10. If it's not a fit, move on with grace to the next conversation.
