Antigua Guatemala, a historic UNESCO heritage city, was Guatemala's third capital. It is also full of restaurants, shops, and historic sites to explore. Also not to be missed is Lake Atitlán, which is surrounded by three volcanic mountain ranges. There are also some Mayan villages that dot the shores of the lake.
