The government has issued noticed to Flipkart and Amazon and other eCommerce players in India, the notice was sent for not mandatorily displaying the information that is required under the government's rules, which includes the country of origin which has to be displayed on products that are sold on each of their respective platforms. Since that has not been done, the notices have been sent out by the government to these eCommerce platforms. Apart from the two companies, the government has also issued notices to other eCommerce players. The companies have been asked to reply to these notices within a span of 15 days.
