When it comes to Shopify dropshipping, I personally believe that the methods out there have become too saturated. This is causing a lot of dropshippers to end up competing with each other and trying to get a small piece of the pie. In 2020, it's important to branch out and use better research strategies which can lead to bigger winning products.
There are three specific strategies mentioned in this video which I've begun to use more frequently for my own store. It doesn't really matter what advertising platform is used; what matters the most is what kind of products are used to advertise.
Strategy #1 involves using the Google Merchant Center to find products. This is a fairly easy method which has led me to many good products. While majority of products here are from real brands, it's not too difficult to source them from Aliexpress.
Strategy #2 involves signing up to other eCommerce website emails and newsletters to spy on products via the emails they send. This is an overlooked strategy but one that can lead to many winning products. More often than not, these eCom stores will put their best products inside these emails in hopes of getting sales.
The final strategy involves going on coupon related websites such as Groupon, Slick Deals, etc. and researching products there.
