NEW! Facebook Shops & Shopify Unite Against Amazon - Shift in E-Commerce! REACTION of Amazon PPC Guy

The 2020 Launch of Facebook Shops - the biggest news coming from Ecommerce for a long time! Just 3 hours ago, on May 19, 2020, Facebook announced "Shops" by partnering up with Shopify, WooCommerce & Co, which will make it incredibly easy for sellers to sell on Facebook and all its platforms! This will have long lasting effects on the complete (online) business world, including Amazon...and Amazon Advertising! ;)

The shop combination of Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, Whatsapp and these kind of experienced online shopping platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce,...) will finally represent a real challenge on Amazon's stronghold on ecommerce. Exciting times ahead for all of us!

Oh, and the best news? Facebook Shops is FREE! They will only genrate money from facebook shops advertising, but there are no "Facebook Referral Fees" like on Amazon.

PS. yes, a lot of sellers had previously already been on Walmart, Ebay and other shopping sites. But if only a very small % of revenue actually comes from those shops, they still remain irrelevant. Facebook (including Insta and Whatsapp), however, boasts a huge customer base ready to start shopping!

PPS. this is not comparable to Facebook Marketplace, which is like ebay. Now, with Facebook Shops, there's an actual "Amazon" shopping experience (including reliable shipping / customer service) from real sellers on Facebook!
