Don’t let virtual meetings stop you from reading people - you can glean a lot from facial expressions, posture, and hand movements visible on screen.
Build strong relationships by making it “about them” and seeking their thoughts and opinions, talking in terms of their priorities, and empowering them with choice, but be sure they reciprocate towards you to maintain that trust.
Pillars of a healthy relationship include longevity, reliability, competence, diligence, affirming language, transparency, and stability.
