Ever wonder how a tangled mess of categories can turn into a data management horror story? (Spoiler alert: it’s not pretty!)

With 1,300 categories nested six to seven levels deep, it was a full-blown nightmare for the whole team!

???? Duplicate categories were just the tip of the iceberg. It was tough to keep track of everything, and the team started losing sight of their own products. (Eek!)

The result? Wrong data was being pushed to eBay, leading to incorrect product info and, worse, mismatched images. Talk about a recipe for disaster!

They had a strict image naming convention too—make one tiny mistake, and poof! the image wouldn’t show or would end up on the wrong product. Yikes!

Now, imagine juggling 100,000 SKUs with five images each. That’s a whole lot of potential headaches!
