Jumia customers in Kenya may benefit from reduced delivery fees following the expansion of pick up points for goods ordered on the eCommerce platform. The new strategy also aims to empower local businesses by boosting their revenue and providing better services to the consumers. Entrepreneurs who sign up to serve as local pick up points can earn up to $ 1000 per month. The e-commerce giant's strategy is to expand its countrywide pick-up station network over the course of the year, with over 100 more pick-up stations expected to go live every month.
