Meet Jack Ma, the founder and former executive chairman of the Alibaba Group. Born in Hangzhou, China in the year 1964, Jack Ma had to struggle with poverty as a young child.
The fact that he faced rejection at various stages in his early life did not deter him.
After his graduation he took up a job as an English teacher.
In the year 1999, Jack Ma along with a group of friends founded Alibaba an e-commerce platform that would enable small and medium sized Chinese firms to connect with international firms.
Over the years Alibaba has grown leaps and bounds.
Today Alibaba boasts of a market value of more than $600 billion and Jack Ma finds his name among the top 20 richest billionaires of the World as per Forbes.
