A talk at Centurion University for undergraduate courses on (a) calculus, (b) statistics, and (c) history and philosophy of science.
The key issue is that these courses are to be taught for their PRACTICAL value, not merely because of Indic origins. The ganita method makes calculus easier and enables students to solve harder problems involving non-elementary functions. Likewise it makes statistics easier and enables the study of non-normal stable distributions.
The history and philosophy of science course teaches also how to contest a mass of false Western history of science.
