Improving road safety in Metro Manila

Fred Smith, the global program director of the International Road Assessment Programme, a non-profit organization dedicated to saving lives by eliminating high-risk roads throughout the world, discusses ways to enhance road safety and reduce motorcycle accidents in Metro Manila.

The interview was conducted on the sidelines of the International Transport Forum (ITF) summit on May 26 in Leipzig, Germany.

The ITF serves as a policy think tank for all modes of transport. It is an arm of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development.
