Consumers used to visiting the IMM mall can now access its stores online. The virtual mall will have over 200 stores listed via e-commerce platform Shopee. It aims to give store owners more online marketing opportunities to drive in-store sales. The initiative is also part of the government's plan to facilitate smart commerce. It is also looking at piloting ideas to address industry challenges, like food pick-up and delivery.
