I get asked all the time if you can still see results with a small budget on Facebook / Google Ads and my honest answer is no. Why? Let me give you a simple example: ???? Let's say your average cost per acquisiton on Facebook is £8. It's quite low but imagine you have a low cost, high converting product ???? You need to spend £8 on Facebook to acquire a customer ???? Now, the learning phase on Facebook is 50 purchases a week. 50 x £8 (which is your imaginary CPA) means you should be spending at least £60 per ad per day. ???? This is just per AD, not the entire campaign. So if you're testing 3 ads, you'd need £180 a day to exit the learning phase and so on. ???? This allows you to spend enough to acquire enough customers at your average CPA and exit the learning phase to optimise your ads. You have to put yourself in the mindset of the algorithm.
