The title that you give an eBay listing can determine how well your item sells! According to eBay, the listing title is “the most important gateway into a product's catalog entry”. Titles are crawled by every internet search engine and are listed in their search results. Good titles get more traffic, and bad titles get buried in search! In this video, I’ll tell you all of the tips and tricks that you need to know to make your eBay listings stand out.
When creating eBay listing, keep these title tips in mind:
1. Describe your product's top features (while being as short as possible).
2. Keep your eBay titles under 80 characters in length.
3. Your eBay Titles should be unique. Don’t copy other people’s titles!
4. eBay titles should be well written, concise, and easy to read.
5. When listing, make sure that your title doesn’t contain typos.
6. Don’t use special characters, symbols, and emojis. The eBay algorithm doesn’t like them.
7. Avoid using adjectives in your titles (such as “awesome, great condition, rare, ext.).
8. Never use CAPS lock when titling your eBay listings.
9. Titles should include only the brand name that the manufacturer uses to identify the specific product being referenced.
