Vue Storefront reviews, the second in the series of storefront reviews designed to help you make more informed choices when you go headless and decide on choosing a prebuilt head – eCommerce storefront – FeaaS.

There have been an increasing number of new options appearing on the market that provide a delivery you a storefront you can customize as a FEaaS. To help you determine which is best for you, I created a simple analysis tool with 9 questions or considerations you should make when choosing what's suitable for you. Following that video, I had a few of you reach out asking if I could review some of the storefronts out there.

So I did, I chose 4 storefronts, and I used my own framework to provide a high-level analysis to help you in making a shortlist. When I started editing them together into a video and providing a little conclusion, the final video was way too long.
So I choose to re-edit them into separate videos, with a separate summary video. This video is Vue Storefront.

I’ll add the links here as they are published.

Just a quick note on the methods I used to get the data for the questions. This analysis was made
o by talking directly to some of the vendors
o Looking through documentation and reference materials
o Getting feedback from developers who have worked on the storefronts
o Downloading software where possible
o Using google devtools
o Using google lighthouse to analyse 3 sites for each storefront - I will be keeping the sites anonymous.
o I used BuiltWith to help me find live sites.
o I took lighthouse scores for both desktop and mobile separately
o I ran five tests for desktop and mobile on each site and used the best scores
o I then averaged out the individual scores for each attribute across the sites
o This gives a good indication, but as we all know, a lot of the time, it can also come down to the developer’s implementation.
