Before understanding how to find keywords with the Google Adwords keyword planner tool or just about any other keyword research tool, it's important to know how they even work. With Google ADs, keywords are the equivalent of interest targeting with Facebook. These keywords help provide your ecommerce website direction while increasing page authority.
The first step is to figure out the main keyword to describe the product. This should be a maximum of 1 to 3 words. This can be inserted directly into the keywords planner tool to begin the research. If using the Google keyword planner tool, make sure to exclude adult ideas and set avg monthly searches to be greater than 500 or 999.
When searching up the keywords, simply look at the chart and look at the past 2 to 3 months of trend and volume. There needs to be a total of 20,000 or more monthly searches for the product. Plus, be sure to look at last year's trend during the time period in which you're selling the product at.
This should all be followed with the proper techniques for setting up the product page, which directly relate to images, descriptions, and titles.
