Due to the current conditions within the world, dropshipping has been impacted significantly. From the shipping prices to the delivery times, everything seems to be delayed. However, this does not mean that dropshipping is dead. One great alternative to using Aliexpress at the moment is shipping from Amazon/eBay.
There are multiple parts to dropshipping successfully from Amazon, eBay, or just about any other retail store. The overall strategies, however, remain the same. The first part that needs to be done correctly is product research.
While there are multiple ways to do product research, it's important to find a product that can provide a good profit margin with high availability. This may seem like a stretch with Amazon and eBay but there are thousands of good products available.
Once you find a good product, it's important to make sure it follows specific metrics which can help identify it as a winner. These metrics vary based on the advertising platform used.
When the product(s) has been identified as a winner, the next step is basically importing the product to the store and creating a highly converting product page. When it comes to importing, simply import a 'filler' product from Aliexpress and add in the photos/prices/description from the eBay or Amazon listing instead. For the product page, be sure to mention the faster shipping times.
The last part of the process is basically fulfilling the orders. In the beginning, manually ordering will be required but as the order volume increases, sending CSV files can be a better option.
