Posting on LinkedIn these just like all of the other social media platforms has never been easier. But in some ways its never been harder to have our hard work actually seen by others.

That's because the LinkedIn algorithm again just like all the other platforms only shares you post with a small sample of connections or followers initially to gauge how popular it is and depending on these early signals it receives in likes, comments, shares, and watch time etc that will determine the next step.

So firstly understanding that and then having a plan on how to create the perfect LinkedIn post can greatly change the game in your favour when posting on LinkedIn.

1. Use an eye catching image / video to stop the scroll
2. keep it short maybe 1 line or 100 characters only
3. have a call to action - CTA
4. use hashtags
5. mention someone or tag someone in your post
6. post at the most popular time of day
7. Link up your LinkedIn profile and Twitter account to post to both at same time.
