I love SEO for E-commerce because it allows to save money on ads while increasing profit margins.
It's also a great way to diversify your sales!

In this video I got over the following types of content you should be creating to get traffic to your Shopify or Woocommerce store:

1. Build out product categories and fill them with products
2. Make sure the products link back to the categories so that SEO link juice travels around and helps with ranking
3. Create supporting informational content to develop topic clusters, grow topical authroity, and capture people with Top of the Funnel content.
4. Write content around high purchasing intent keywords (e.g. best standing desks under $1000).

Once you do all that, it's possible to start with link building.
