Although headless eCommerce allows developers to integrate commerce providers like Shopify and Big Commerce with their WordPress data, many developers want to use a headless architecture but still rely on commerce functionality from WordPress using WooCommerce. This can be especially appealing to merchants looking to modernize their frontends without migrating away from WooCommerce.

The WooGraphQL extension for WPGraphQL helps developers build headless eCommerce sites using WooCommerce. Its basic version should support most eCommerce applications, but its recently launched Pro version offers extended support for many popular WooCommerce extensions.
