Massimiliano (Mana) Gritti, Co-Founder of Bombinate, is one of our alumni and the idea for Bombinate originated during his time as BSc Business Studies student. Bombinate is on a mission to build the leading platform connecting quality craftsmanship & lifestyle brands to modern luxury consumers. Bombinate has attracted a family of over 200 brands from 26 countries, while growing + 876% in the last year. They are a small but dynamic team, backed by some of the leading European luxury & tech investors. How did they get to where they are, and how have been they affected by the pandemic?

Massimiliano (Mana) Gritti completed his BSc in Business Studies at the Business School (formerly Cass) in 2016. While at uni, he developed the idea for Bombinate with his co-founder Elliott. They won CitySpark, the university’s entrepreneurship competition, and moved into our co-working space, the City Launch Lab. They have long outgrown us and we are super proud of them – and quite frankly addicted to their beautiful products.

Caroline Wiertz is a Professor of Marketing and the Associate Dean for Entrepreneurship at the Business School (formerly Cass). She specialises in consumer research, digital marketing and social media. Podcast addict who wanted to be a podcast host – but a webinar series will have to do for now.
