She loves exploring new things and so she likes reading. One day she was reading about organic products and she thought that the future is going to be Organic only. Thats when the idea of a new start up came to Monisha. She had a discussion about it with her father and brother who shared the same interests and they discussed about many loopholes and the manipulation’s taking place in the organic food market. So after the discussions & research she concluded that farm price and consumer price have huge differences and the companies which are already existing in the market either charge more for the products or the quality is compromised. So that’s when her brother and she came up with this whole idea of “Orgenik”. They thought of creating an e-commerce platform where they would provide a wide range of certified organic and natural products to the consumers.

Under “Orgenik” - they have two companies - 1) Orgenik Healthcare Products Private Limited 2) Orgenik e-commerce Private Limited. The whole idea behind “Orgenik Products” is to provide the best and premium quality products to the consumers which are not easily available in the market like “Geographical Identity Tag” products and the products which are available in less quantity and if the demand would be more they would do “contract farming” and provide them. They procure the products from the best of the places of India directly from the farmers and provide them to the consumers to their doorstep at a reasonable rate and by that the middlemen is cut and it benefits the farmers. They have created their channels of procurement to the remote and tribal places of India. “Orgenik e-commerce” is a trendsetting platform where we sell certified organic and natural products of our “Orgenik” brand and they are also going to tie up with more than 100 FPO’s. They sell only certified organic and natural products, help the farmers, cut the middlemen, provide premium quality products to the consumers at a reasonable rate which are good for health and promote India by going local.
