GameStop announced a string of new hires on Wednesday, including an Amazon Web Services alum for its chief technology officer. The company still hasn’t commented on its soaring valuation. Matt Francis, who was previously an engineering leader at Amazon Web Services, will start as GameStop’s (ticker: GME) chief technology officer on Feb. 15. The 30-second spot, which will make its TV debut during Sunday's game, highlights the company's branding push that it is "opening America's financial system to everyone." The commercial features everyday people living their lives and shows how they can incorporate the Robinhood app into their daily routines. The commercial ends with the slogan "we are all investors."
