French business sector bullish on cooperation prospects with China

Over the past 60 years, bilateral trade between China and France has grown from approximately $100 million in the 1960s to nearly $80 billion in 2023.

Collaboration between the two countries spans from high-tech sectors such as aircraft and satellites to more traditional businesses like wine and art.

China has now been the top Asian investor in France and job creation for three consecutive years.

In recent years, both sides have found new potential for cooperation in fields such as digital services and cross-border e-commerce.

Regional cooperation also provides strong support for Sino-French economic and trade exchanges.

Paris La Défense, Europe's premier business district and a key hub for attracting foreign investment to France, hopes to accelerate cooperation with Shanghai.

Today, it continues to grow steadily, playing an important role in promoting Sino-French economic exchanges.
