Willem Pienaar is the creator of Feast, an open-source feature store (feast.dev), building tools at the intersection of engineering, data, and ML. Currently, he work as a Principal engineer at Tecton, Leading the development of Feast, an open source feature store. Previously, he has worked in South Africa, Thailand, Singapore before he moved to San Francisco in the US. Today we’ll talk about machine learning in production, cool projects he worked, machine learning in startup and how to pick the right data science track for your career.
