Packaging waste disposal is shared by producers and importers under Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR). Sellers on Amazon are therefore required to register with and pay a national EPR organization. In this video, Lianne Mccaffery from ZEE will go into the details of the registration requirements, particularly in terms of waste management and packaging. Lianne will explain what is the main idea of the EPR and why it was introduced, which Amazon sellers need to register for EPR, and how much does it cost. She will also share how does the process for applying for EPR looks like.
