Nicole Murphy is a Washington, DC native and a single mom of 2 young men, Cameron and Jaxson. She graduated from Susquehanna University and worked for organizations such as Chrysler Financial, HAZMED and Radio One.

Nicole has been featured in Black Enterprise for her new app, Barter Black®.
Nicole’s own struggles running her small business during the pandemic gave her the inspiration and the need to address the glaring but often ignored market gap led to the creation of Barter Black.
