Today we have one of the oldest "new tech" companies: eBay.
Their current P/E is 15, with a forward P/E of 13, which is pretty decent.
The dividend yield is just over 1% with a payout ratio of 18% which isn't terrible.
Revenue is slightly down to $10.3 Billion while earnings are up huge to $5.7 Billion.
The balance sheet looks fairly bad with $3.6 Billion in stockholder's equity.
This company has stopped growing enough to justify a purchase for a growth investor.
For a dividend investor the payout ratio is pretty nice but you can get far better dividends on the market right now.
For a value investor the balance sheet is certainly not great but the current P/E is pretty nice and the dividend is a nice bonus.
