eBay: Looking For Quality Products With A Discounted Price

Has ecommerce peaked as far as sales? eBay Inc. (EBAY) stock price is up over 18% this month. “eBay purchase intent social media mentions are down 5% year-over-year, which is exactly how much the company’s revenue is down quarter-over-quarter according to their latest earnings report. Mentions of shopping online are up 1% year-over-year and consumers are hunting for quality with a perceived discounted price. Consumer happiness for eBay is up recently with the assortment of offerings,” says LikeFolio’s Megan Brantley.
