eBay fees are simplified and explained. I put a film out yesterday that started a little bit of controversy. I don't agree with eBay taking fees on the postage charge. I feel that we pay eBay to introduce us to a buyer of a product, I then employ royal mail to ship that product so don't see why eBay should take a cut. others felt we offer a service on eBay to sell and deliver goods meaning eBay can charge on the full service. there are arguments for and against.

One comment on yesterday's film suggests that eBay wants to charge the buyers like regular auction houses, but for fear of pushing them away they instead push and push more and more legal fees onto the sellers.

The question is how long before they go too far and the sellers walk away?

The purpose of today's film is to break down the eBay seller fees. a simple search on eBay just for the UK showed that many people don't understand the actual cost of selling. with many selling items for less than the cost of selling said products meaning they will owe eBay fees and lose their item for nothing.
